Fox & Ratty Cartoon of the Day: IRS Time

Like last year, we Froggies are allowed to send our IRS form directly online. Government is warmly encouraging us to do so. Of course, they didn't think of installing a broad enough band... I could send mine at 2:30 am only!
Foxy is a happy tax-payer and a faithfull citizen, he's trying hard.

I wish it is the same here. I never could do Mom's, I couldn't obtain her "electronic certificate", for whatever technical reason. And as they're soooo busy by daytime, I can't contact the support either. So... I made it the old way. Okay, she has only a few digits to mention, it's not that difficult. But this way I had to join all these financial attestations, grmph.

We don't get any refund faster, sigh. There's just a "gift" of 20.00 euros - if, and only if, you accept also to pay your taxes monthly. Thanks a lot...

*grin* That´s one advantage when you own a business - you´ve got people doing this kinda crap for you :-).

Yes. *I* was the people "doing this kinda of crap for you". For 17 years. Of course "people" around keeps asking you...

Well, my mom is doing it for me as long as I own my business, because "people" like me are not even allowed to do it for themselves here.

Fox is such a sweetie, so naïve :o)

I don't have to file a tax return yet ;)
As I'm in full time employment, my employer pays the income tax on my behalf according to a set formula.

I know this is working in many countries, but they never tried to do so here. And anyway, Mom and Paul have other incomes than retirement pensions, so there would always be a form to fill...
