What does "kaNd" mean?

I chose my nickname because of Keanu (Reeves), Aidan (Guilen), Nick (!!!), David (Duchovny) - so long for people asking me, and that's why I usually write it kaNd. In fact it should have been N...
What do I say that? Because checking if I can reserve a domain name with my future activity title, I found this definition:
kand: "(Mining) Fluor spar; - so called by Cornish miners."
That's probably why my auto-portrait is so widely (and white) smiling! ROTFLMAO

Thanks for finally revealing the truth behind the mystery. ;)

I always thought it was a nickname for Candice or something like that.

Nope, my real first and middle names are Claude, Alice, which I usually write as one: Claude-Alice. Candice doesn't exist in French, the only equivalent may be Candide, for a man, and not much in use since, huh, Voltaire?

Thanks for the explanation, kaNd. I always wondered about the name... and the capital N. But of course Nick would be the most important component. :-)
