"Ma puce" (my flea) is a common sweet name in France, usually for a girl or a child. Maybe because it's so small? Or perhaps it has an older origin. In past centuries when hygiene wasn't that good :o/ lovers had an opportunities to visit each others' bodies searching for fleas... It was a common foreplay... No kidding.
