My dear friend Jim told me I was drawing like Aubrey Beardsley. I was 18 and I didn't know this artist then, but I discovered him and enjoyed!
Here's a little tribute...

Squee! I adore Beardsley! I've an art book featuring his work and just love it. I think I was a teenager when I discovered him.

This Foxy and Ratty ala Beardsley is fabulous and is now one of my favorites of yours.

Ratty in the moon with cotton in his ears is hysterical. I love your homage to Aubrey Beardsley. His life is so sad - he had Tuberculosis (which was incurable then) and he had to cram as much experience into his life as possible. He was dead at 28. He had a very unusual face - large nose, prominent bone structure but very elegant. His hand were beautiful - long graceful fingers and hand. Can't you tell I fell in love with him when I was a teenager?
