Wish I were there. I love lilacs, too, but unfortunately our warm climate isn't suited to them, so I have to go without here.

That's so cute with his little nose poking out of the flowers :)
I wouldn't mind seeing Nick Lea romping nekkid in a pile of lilacs *g*

Always a naughty girl, huh? It reminds me of a confidence he made in "Boys Night Out", about the more romantic thing he ever did. Leaving in the night (his first time with a very special girl) to raid gardens and late-opened flowerists, he came back with an enormous bouquet he scattered on their bed...

The silly part of that story is that he was outside in her dressing gown (Americans would say roge)

Allergic to them myself, but I'm glad Ratty is in bloom.

My poor Ursula, you wouldn't be happy here, we have at least 6 of them... White, parma, deep purple, simple, double, for all tastes!

I LOVE lilacs! Such a pity they don't live long in a vase. :(

PS: did you manage to send me that DVD? Just checking.

I'm crazy about lilacs. We used to raid a neighbor's lilac bush but fortunately she was my mother's best friend so she forgave us. Ratty is adorable - little toes showing, tail showing....
There's a poem (I can't remember whose)that starts:

"I'm hiding, I'm hiding
But no one knows where
for all they can see is my toes and my hair"

Ahhhh! How cute! His little shiny Ratty nose peeking out through the lilacs! Makes me want to run outside and smell all the flowers. :)
